Rental Terms and Conditions
Definitions ~
Event – Agreed period in which items are hired for.
Hirer- Person or persons hiring goods from ‘French Furniture Hire’
Goods – property of ‘French Furniture Hire’ that is being hired by the hirer.
A. Ownership
The goods that are being hired remain the property of ‘French Furniture Hire.
B. Hire Security Bond
A security bond will be charged to the hirer in addition to the agreed Hire fee. This rate will depend on the goods that are being hired. The security bond will be refunded in full within 7 days after the goods have been returned in their original condition. The security deposit and the Hire fee will need to paid in full within 48 hrs of the event.
C. Hire Fee
A 50% deposit will be required in order to hold the items for the specified event. As specified in part B, the remaining balance will need to be payed in full with 48 hrs of the Event.
D. Cleaning Fee
A cleaning fee will be applied if goods are returned soiled or stained.
E.Cancellations
Cancellations need to be made in writing 7 days prior to the Event. Failure to do so will result in the hirer’s deposit to be non refundable.
E. Late Fees
If goods are returned later than the agreed period a late fee will apply.
F.Destruction or Loss of Goods
If goods are Damaged or lost, Hirer shall be liable to pay ‘French Furniture Hire’ for the value of the good/s damaged or lost in accordance to its retail value.
